ANOTHER PROJECT FINANCED TO GSI ITALIA BY THE WALDENSIAN CHURCH

Another project approved to GSI Italia from the Waldensian Church, a donor who has been supporting GSI Italia projects in the world for many years. This is an intervention of 30.000 euros in favor of some rural communities in northern Congo. A country where, as in many others in Africa, the main cause of death, especially in children, is diarrhea, caused by the lack of drinking water. And it is precisely on this front that the Association will intervene with this project, building a well and distributing sanitized waters in ten different communities in the Intswem district. Health is the main objective of GSI Italia’s activity in recent years and water security is a fundamental and basic objective of the NGO health action in Africa. The start-up of the activities is estimated by next November.
