Project description

The project contributes to promote primary prevention and treatment of gynecological cancers, with measures to combat the morbidity and mortality of women in Tigrè, Ethiopia, through:

• the training of local paramedical personnel;
• the technical improvement of medical personnel and the transfer of appropriate technologies;
• the launch of a territorial screening program through pap smear;
• the planning of surgical interventions for the positive cases to the cancer disease.
