Lions and GSI Italia together in Ethiopia and Congo

The collection of glasses is one of LIONS’ historical activities.
The district of Chivasso, in the north of Italy, and the NGO GSI Italia have signed an agreement to transfer the benefit of the LIONS collections to Ethiopia and the Democratic Republic of Congo, where the non-governmental organization operates in the health sector.
Italian and African ophthalmologists will transform the LIONS’ donation into a precious result for children and adults who could never buy a pair of glasses without the help of Lions and GSI Italia.
